Pope Leo XIV is warmly welcomed in Lebanon,

Lebanon, the nation with the largest Christian population in the Middle East. The Pope met with representatives of eighteen religious denominations in Martyrs' Square during his visit and called for unity to confront the severe political, economic, and social crisis facing the country. He also urged an end to the emigration of Christians and delivered a message of hope to the people of Lebanon.
