Peru's New President

He was born on November 13, 1986, in Lima, in the Jesús María neighborhood. He graduated in law from the Federico Villarreal National University and the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega University. A member of the right-wing Somos Perú party since 2013, he was accused of rape in early 2025, but the charges were dropped in August due to lack of evidence. Regarding this, Heri stated: "My absolute innocence has been confirmed, as I have already said: I have not participated in anything, neither directly nor indirectly." He describes himself as a "lawyer and animal rights activist" and speaks about his activities as a congressman and speaker of Congress.
