Tsumura's Nikkei cuisine has achieved international notoriety due to its perfect preparation and its tasting menu titled "Nikkei Experience." Maido was crowned the best restaurant in the world in the "The World's 50 Best Restaurants" ranking in 2025. One of its most iconic dishes is "The 50-Hour Cooked Rib," which melts when touched with a spoon, preserving both its flavor and texture. Along with Maido, other Peruvian restaurants also made the ranking: Kjolle (9th), Mérito (26th), and Mayta (39th).
