EU FEARS RUSSIAN POWER

The EU, aware of the rising tensions, has intensified its deliberations on measures to counter Russian hybrid actions due to the submarine cable sabotage incidents in the Baltic Sea between Latvia and Sweden. Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braze prefers a weakened Russia as the best security guarantee and calls for greater cooperation among NATO members.
