Corona benefits from the United States' love for Mexican beers.
Corona wants more space in Americans' refrigerators. Constellation Brands, the company behind Pacifico, Modelo, and Corona, has launched a new premium light beer with low calorie content: Corona Premier. It is also expanding Corona Familiar, a beer geared toward Hispanic consumers, and experimenting with Corona Refresca, a flavored malt beverage. Constellation believes the market for premium Mexican beers has the potential to continue expanding in the U.S. and that Corona has the brand strength to attract customers who have grown tired of Bud, Coors, and Miller. Corona also plans to create a cannabis-infused beer with palliative themes in the very near future.
