An army general was killed in a car bomb attack that is now under investigation in Russia.

The explosion of a device hidden beneath a car's chassis killed Russian Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov, the Russian Investigative Committee reported Monday. Sarvarov headed the Operational Training Department of the Armed Forces.
